Chapter 12 Bankruptcy

There are various types of bankruptcy outlined in the bankruptcy laws.  Each type of bankruptcy is for a specified purpose.  Different rules apply for each type of bankruptcy because each type is different in many ways. 

The reason there are various types of bankruptcy is because there is a need to separate different types of debtors.  By having these various types of bankruptcy, it allows for each debtor to choose the type of bankruptcy that is best for their situation.

Bankruptcy is not an easy out.  It is a serious situation.  It will help you get back on your feet but it will not completely solve all your problems.  Through Chapter 12 you will be able to settle your debts and begin rebuilding.  You have to make an effort to get your finances back in shape so you do not end up in trouble once again.
